How to add and organize form sections in FORWARD Direct so your program’s form is clear and easy to complete.

When Should I Use This?


Use these steps when you need to:

  • Add a new section to your program form using + Add Section 

  • Reorder sections in the left sidebar to match your desired flow 

  • Enable or disable a section using the section toggle 

  • Update section settings like Title, Group, and Eligibility Toggle 


Step-by-Step Instructions


  1. Open your program and go to the FORM section. 

  2. In the left sidebar, review the list of form sections. 

  3. Select a section to view and edit its details. 

  4. To reorder sections, drag and drop sections in the left sidebar. 

  5. To enable or disable a section, use the section toggle in the sidebar. 

  6. To add a new section, select + Add Section

  7. Update the section’s settings as needed:

    • Title 

    • Group 

    • Eligibility Toggle 

  8. Select Save to save your changes. 

  9. (Optional) Use Preview Language to preview the form in different languages. 

  10. When you are ready for the updated form to go live for your program, select Publish.


Common Mistakes to Avoid


  • Reordering sections but not selecting Save afterward. 

  • Disabling a section unintentionally by toggling it off in the sidebar. 

  • Publishing without checking section settings like Title, Group, and Eligibility Toggle.


Best Practices for FORWARD Direct Users


  • Use the left sidebar to keep form sections organized and easy to review before publishing. 

  • Use Preview Language to confirm the form experience before you Publish

  • Use Save while you are making changes, and use Publish only when you are ready for the update to be live.
