In less than 2 business days, an urgent community need became a fully operational emergency assistance program.
Across two rounds, the LAUSD Boyle Heights Emergency Fund served 350 families and distributed $100,000 in assistance. LAUSD staff were able to focus their time where it mattered most, working onsite at neighboring schools to verify student enrollment and help families access support, while FORWARD powered the infrastructure behind the response.
